Achieving “longevity through integrity” speaks to the work ethic of Rugby, UK-based extreme metal quartet, Conjurer, whose brash, melodic, and devastatingly tragic brand of music is not for the faint of heart, and yet, contains an undeniable amount of the human experience.
Since their formation, they have always been uncompromising in their artform, to the dismay of those who may wish the band into the mainstream. And yet, this has not stopped them from being major players in the European metal scene. When you look at any festival line up, you’d be remiss to not find Conjurer on the bill.
So much of what they bring to the metal world is in their unbridled, unapologetic attitude toward their creative practice. They’re blunt about it too, speaking about how they turn their darkest emotions into dark songs, mentioning that they aren’t concerned with streaming numbers. For Conjurer, their music is a tool for reconciliation and catharsis.
Conjurer’s live sound and presentation is undeniably powerful, bolstered by bellowing vocal harmonies, punishing yet melodic guitar riffs, and forceful drums. There’s little more to be desired during Conjurer’s live performance, what you hear and feel is what you get. They proved it once during their Audiotree Live session, and we’re proud to bring them back for this episode of From Nothing.

"I would've loved to hear both bands collaborate to do the heaviest music that they can do, considering how well it would've fit the dark title, but this is what I never knew I wanted to hear."

This one really goes deep. Tremendously heavy and bleak, yet crushingly groovy as well. You can easily see these guys destroying any venue they'd hit live with this. The heavy hitting slow to mid-tempo tunes are sort of tranceinducing. It's very easy to listen to it multiple times in a row or even get lost in it totally. mourner

This is wonderful. Great how you combine this music, integrated her voice. What an outstanding cooperation. Keep it up! I'll sure be looking ;) MyDogLikesRock
