Since forming in high school, the 4 members of Enter Shikari have worked to send a message of unity with their music. Starting out in basements, to now headlining festivals where thousands of attendees come to bask in their singular message, the group’s energy field is palpable. It’s in the way they carry themselves, how they market themselves, and how the fans behave at their shows. Unity.
Working with the group, it’s clear they’re all high-performing professionals, but their humbleness is still present. Which, from our vantage point, was a relief because they were open enough with us to reveal some of the inner workings of their operation, how they feel about the current state of the world, and what they feel their role is in making it better.
Enter Shikari made it clear they want their legacy to go beyond their music. The books, interviews, TV appearances, music videos, and their art as a collective is recognized as being bigger than themselves. The feeling that then arises is this duty to themselves and their audience to continually lift each other up.
As it was put by their singer, Rou, it takes a certain amount of awareness to make these kinds of movements in one’s life and career. And in the spirit of that, the songs they perform are all laced with messages of how to do better, be better, for yourself and for everyone around you. We’re thrilled to present Enter Shikari as part of Edition 2. Check out Enter Shikari on Audiotree From Nothing!
