My Goodness began as a two-piece in the vein of Reignwolf or the Black Keys. They brought with them blues chords set to Seattle’s punk rock/grunge backdrop. After a few years of touring as a duo, they picked up the raucous Cody Votolato (of Blood Brothers fame) to play bass. This driving, thunderous low end adds structural integrity to the wall of rock they create. By daisy-chaining cabs and using custom germanium fuzz, My Goodness builds a battering ram capable of commanding any stage. The band’s newest release, “Shiver + Shake”, was recorded with the late Rick Parashar (Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and Blind Melon). It’s a groovy debut, chock full of blues punk tracks that swing from solemn and dark to a bright, melodic sound that borders on pop. Check them performing energetic tracks from the new release.
