Run For Cover is a special label. They continually release and promote talented artists who would otherwise go unnoticed and have built a brand that is recognized by the mainstream music community for this fact. Young Statues is a prime example of their taste-making prowess. They create slick, reverbous guitar tones that echo styles of the turn of the 80’s. Carmen Cirignano’s voice is soft and groovy; he croons over the washy licks he and Matt Weber create.

The band’s 2014 release, “The Flatlands are your Friend” has a blurred apartment on the cover. The simple image captures the downtrodden beauty within their stellar sophomore release. With a strong team behind them and potential in great songs, expect good things down the road from Young Statues.
