I remember coming across this album after hearing her rad as hell "Deceptacon" cover with Paws. I was still in high school and searching for new music when saw this with the Name Your Price download. I of course named my price $0 given how broke I was, but absolutely loved listening to "The Woman that Loves You" on my iPod shuffle.
Seeing Japanese Breakfast pop off made me so happy. I like to think that my incessant Tumblr posting about this collection of music helped out. Love the album. Jon Del Real

It feels like you shouldn’t be listening - in a good way. Like hearing secrets someone’s never said out loud. It’s personal, charming, and introspective through sounds and lyrics. I get somber every listen. Silcio
