Sol Cat is a dancy southern rock band. They’re sometimes psychedelic, sometimes roots, sometimes rock and always funky. Brett Hammann’s vocals are whiskey-worn and gravelly; his dense biographical lyrics direct the band’s playful, smart tone. The five-piece are mostly reserved in their instrumentals but fully capable of unified jams when the show calls for it. The relatively young band is constantly touring, spreading their late night dance party vibes across the country.
